California Commission on Disability Access

California Commission on Disability Access (CCDA) was created by legislation that became law through the signing of Senate Bill 1608 by Governor Schwarzenegger. 

This bill established the California Commission on Disability Access for certain purposes related to disability access, and would require the commission to conduct studies and make reports to the Legislature, as specified. Checklists for Barrier Removal

 
There are three architectural access barrier removal checklists available in the GUIDE/RESOURCES tab. These checklists can help small businesses and building inspectors evaluate whether disability access exists for the goods and services offered by a business.
